My real name is not Thomas J. Love, and that’s not my photograph.
The man in the photos looks enough like me that readers will recognize me if they ever meet me, but Thomas J. Love is a pen name.
Why?
Because I have a career I enjoy, a family I love, and a life outside of writing. A pseudonym gives me the freedom to write honestly without asking the people around me to carry the consequences of my creative choices.
What lies behind that pseudonym, however, is completely real.

- And every story you’ve read began in my imagination before it ever reached a keyboard.
